The Story

The Origin
In the ancient world, the most precious scents were kept in small vessels called alabastra. Narrow-necked, rounded, carved from veined alabaster. The stone gave the vessel its name. These were not ordinary bottles; they were treasured objects, traded across the Mediterranean, and often buried with their owners.
Corps Alabastre carries that ancient idea forward: scent kept in a vessel of its own, made wearable again. Rather than applying fragrance directly, your chosen scent lives within the vessel, worn close and released gently into the air around you. A quieter, more considered way to wear what you love, for those who prefer to keep fragrance off the skin.

Care & delivery
Each vessel is prepared and sent with care.
Shipping
Each package is prepared by hand. Because of this, please allow up to two weeks for your order to be assembled and dispatched.
Orders are sent via a selected carrier service with tracking. Vessels are shipped insured and may require a signature on delivery.
Where we ship: North America and International.
Shipping cost: Shipping is included in the price of every vessel. Insert-only orders are charged at checkout.
Once dispatched, you will receive tracking by email. Delivery times vary by destination and are estimates, not guarantees.
Customs and duties (U.S. orders): International orders may be subject to import duties or taxes levied by the destination country. These are the responsibility of the recipient.
Le Vessel
Should a vessel arrive and not find its keeper, it may be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided it is unworn, unmarked, and returned in its original packaging.
Once returned and inspected, a refund will be issued to the original payment method, less original shipping where applicable. Return shipping is the responsibility of the sender unless the vessel arrived faulty or damaged.
L'Âme and Le Cuir — The Inserts
Inserts are made to absorb. Once they have met scent, they are yours alone and cannot be returned or exchanged. All inserts are final sale.
This is not a matter of policy alone but of hygiene and intimacy: an insert that has held one person's perfume cannot belong to another.
Le Rituel
Within a complete kit, the vessel may be returned under the terms above; the inserts within it may not. Refunds are adjusted to reflect the retained inserts.
Faulty or damaged items
If a vessel arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described, write to hello@corpsalabastre.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photograph. A replacement or full refund, including shipping, will be arranged. This does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection law.
How to begin a return
Write to hello@corpsalabastre.com with your order number before sending anything back. Returns sent without prior notice may not be processed.
The fine print
The terms that govern your order.
These terms govern your purchase from Corps Alabastre Limited. By placing an order, you agree to them.
1. Us
Corps Alabastre Limited, a corporation registered in Ontario, Canada. Contact: hello@corpsalabastre.com.
2. Products
Each vessel is made by hand. Small variations in finish are inherent to how our objects are made and are not defects, they are the mark of a made thing.
We take care that colours and details are shown accurately, but screens vary, and slight differences between image and object may occur.
3. Orders
Your order is an offer to purchase. A contract is formed when we confirm dispatch, not when you place the order. We may decline or cancel an order, for example, where an item is unavailable, where there has been a pricing error, or where we suspect fraud, and will refund any payment taken.
4. Price and payment
All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). Applicable taxes are added at checkout and shown before you pay. Payment is taken at the time of order through our payment provider.
We make every effort to price accurately. In the event of an obvious error, we are not obliged to fulfil an order at the incorrect price.
5. Availability and scarcity
Our products are made in limited quantity. Listed availability reflects genuine stock. Once a run is sold, it is sold; a future run, if any, is not guaranteed to match the last.
6. Delivery
Delivery terms are set out on our Shipping & Returns page. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
7. Returns
Returns are governed by our Returns Policy. In summary: vessels may be returned unworn within the stated window; inserts are final sale once they have met scent.
8. Faulty goods
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under applicable consumer protection law. If goods are faulty or not as described, we will repair, replace, or refund as required by law.
9. Care
Our products are made to last, but require care. Care guidance is provided with your order. In particular: perfume should be applied to the insert and allowed to dry before the insert is placed in the vessel; perfume oils should not be used; and the vessel should be wiped with the included cloth after wear. Damage arising from misuse, or from applying substances our care guidance advises against, including perfume oils, or wet perfume applied directly to the vessel, is not covered. The natural tarnishing of sterling silver is inherent to the metal and is not a defect.
10. Errors and corrections
Occasionally our site may contain errors or omissions relating to price, description, availability, or delivery. We reserve the right to correct any such error and to change or update information, or to cancel an order where information was inaccurate, at any time without prior notice, including after an order has been placed. Where we cancel an order for this reason, any payment taken is refunded in full.
11. Acceptable use
You agree not to use our site or its contents for any unlawful purpose, to infringe our intellectual property or that of others, to introduce malicious code, to collect others' personal information, or to interfere with the security or operation of the site. We may refuse service or withdraw access where these terms are breached.
12. Third-party services
Our site relies on third-party services — including our store platform, payment provider, email service, and shipping carriers — and may contain links to third-party sites. These operate under their own terms, and we are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of them is at your own discretion.
13. Intellectual property
The Corps Alabastre name, wordmark, amphora device, imagery, and written content are ours and may not be reproduced, copied, or used without our written permission.
14. Our liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from your purchase is limited to the price paid for the product. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. Indemnity
You agree to hold Corps Alabastre Limited harmless from any claim, including reasonable legal costs, arising from your breach of these terms or your violation of any law or the rights of another.
16. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found unlawful or unenforceable, that provision is severed and the remaining provisions continue in full force.
17. Entire agreement
These terms, together with our Returns Policy, Privacy Policy, and Shipping & Returns page, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding your purchase. Our failure to enforce any provision does not waive it.
18. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Disputes are subject to the courts of Ontario.
19. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published at the time of your order, always available at www.corpsalabastre.com/terms.

What is Le Vessel?
A fine locket that holds your chosen perfume within it. Worn close, your warmth releases the scent slowly and intimately throughout the day, a softer, more deliberate way to wear what you love.
Which vessels are there?
Two. No.01 in sterling silver, No.02 finished in 14k gold. The same vessel at heart, in the metal you are drawn to.
How does the fragrance work?
Each vessel holds a small insert you scent with your own perfume, L'Âme in wool felt, which keeps a fragrance pure, or Le Cuir in leather, which deepens it over time. The insert rests inside the locket and carries the scent with you.
Do the inserts run out?
The vessel lasts forever; the soul renews. When an insert has given its scent, you replace it. Inserts are sold on their own, made to be refilled again and again.
How do I care for my vessel?
Apply perfume to the insert, not the vessel, and let it dry a moment before placing it inside. Use perfume, never oils. Wipe the vessel with its accompanying cloth after wear. Sterling silver may darken gently in time, this is the nature of the metal, and easily restored.
Can I return an insert?
For reasons of hygiene and intimacy, inserts are final sale once they have met scent. Vessels may be returned within 14 days if unworn and in their original packaging. Full details on our Shipping & Returns page.
